    The Tropic of Capricorn 10 of 20 – Australia – BBC Travel Documentary, recorded 21.03.2009 Simon Reeve presents a travel documentary as embarks on a journey along the Tropic of Capricorn, the line of latitude which cuts through Southern Africa, Australia and South America. In the four-part BBC2 series Tropic of Capricorn, broadcast in 2008, Simon followed the southern border of the tropics region around the world. While filming Tropic of Capricorn, Simon travelled through Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Mozambique, Madagascar, Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. The journey took him to stunning areas of the world, but it was also a chance for spontaneous discoveries about the changing global environment, poverty, globalisation, AIDS, the rise of the Chinese economy and the suffering of Africa.     Allan Whiting of Outback Travel Australia organised a Camper Trailer Torture Test that took place during July 2010. Mitsubishi’s range of four wheel drives; Pajero, Challenger and Triton towed the six participating camper trailers on the 10000+ km test. Camper trailers on the test included Cub, Kimberley, Heaslip, Challenge, Track Trailer, Trak Shak, all endured numerous deep river crossings, bull-dust, mud, rocky and corrugated tracks without suffering any damage. The camper trailers provided very comfortable homes away from home for the test team during the month long trip. The DVD of the full test is packaged with 4X4 Australia Magazine, December 2010 issue on sale now.
